Empowering children to take positive steps towards independence and wellbeing
Every child should have equal opportunities to develop and grow into the happy, fulfilled and resilient people they have the potential to be. We make sure their basic needs are met at an individual level. They are encouraged to explore their unique abilities and personalities in an environment that is run compassionately and professionally.
At Orchard House, from the moment of referral onwards, we work in tandem with families, carers, stakeholders and of course the children themselves. Our goal is to deliver an exceptionally high standard of care that not only meets but exceeds the learning, development, and safeguarding needs of our service users.

Our care staff, coordinators and management
have strong experience and a deep understanding of the wide range of learning, developmental, and sensory needs that can affect children and young people. They recognise that every child is different, and that these needs can shape how a young person learns, communicates, builds relationships, and experiences the world around them.
For that reason, each care plan is carefully and thoughtfully created around the individual. Support is tailored to every area of their life — from daily routines and education to emotional wellbeing and social development. The aim is not just to provide care, but to build confidence, encourage growth, and help each young person move towards greater independence, happiness, and a sense of achievement.
